Deployment of Automated Timetable Software
The company recently assisted a medium-sized university to plan for the deployment of automated timetable software. The brief included the creation of a cost-benefit analysis that examined the data interfaces that the university was already using, and the methods by which the new timetabling software could be integrated with existing systems. Mosaic-Space conducted a stakeholder engagement exercise, estimated the current costs of the timetabling function, and formulated long term benefits of the implementation of an automated scheduling solution.
A detailed project implementation plan was created in Microsoft Project, supported by project management tools. Mosaic-Space established the framework for identifying required resources for the timetabling software deployment, and developed strategies that covered both the technical issues and the change management programme required to successfully make the transition from the old to the new system.
