The University's plan was to consolidate its business-teaching facilities in the Abercrombie Precinct. Previously these were spread over nine buildings on the Camperdown / Darlington campus. In parallel, consideration needed to be give to changes in pedagogy, and the new types of space that would support such moves, while also accommodating current teaching delivery methods.

Mosaic-Space work with university staff, as well as six different firms of architects and planners, to build a number of different models based on the delivery of teaching to varying numbers of students, using different pedagogical approaches.

Details of the the building are found here.

Detauks of the building design philosophy are found here.
